Essay 6

The Sleep Dealer the movie is in Mexico. Clearly Power by the matrix. Really MATRIX its powerful scenes and its dialogue and never-seen-before battles. It's one of the finest pieces of film history. The Matrix fans around the globe discussed for MONTHS "how this was possible”? Sleep Dealer the movie is connection with matrix It’s possible by networks.Sleep Dealer the movie is in Mexico production. The movie is fantastic. It begins with Star Wars (a young man whose rural home is destroyed by military forces becomes a rebel in the struggle against the empire). Memo Cruz has always dreamed of leaving his tiny village and heading north. But when he is ultimately forced to leave, Memo finds a future so bizarre - border walls, shantytowns, hi-tech factories, remote control drones and aqua-terrorists - that it looks a lot like today. The film, which makes thrifty use of some basic but effective special effects, follows Memo. Sleep Dealer makes the point that these are the people on whom the future and all of its perils will weigh the hardest. Memo Cruz is a young compassion who lives with his family in a town fighting for its life, the small, dusty farm village of Santa Ana Del Rio, Oaxaca. A private company has hijacked control of the area’s water supply and is selling it back to the village at outrageous prices, provoking the mobilization of aqua-terrorist cells. But Memo couldn’t care less about Santa Ana. He loves technology and dreams. The U.S. military no longer has to worry about pilots being killed on dangerous air missions. The U.S. military kill memo father.
The Reality is marketing of memories, and finally, The Matrix (body nodes and cyber insurgency). But what Sleep Dealer has that The Matrix severely lacked is a realistic idea of labor in the future. In The Matrix, humans are farmed for their energy by the evil machines. All they have to do is sleep and dream that they are living in a big and prosperous post-industrial city. The quality of their dreaming is not weak but is totally convincing. If you eat the illusion of a steak, it tastes just like a real steak. Meaning, it is a steak, and this is a real restaurant, and this is a real city. Because the dream is no different from the real, the rebellion against the machines and their soft exploitation of human bodies does not make much sense. In Sleep Dealer, evil machines are replaced by the evils of neoliberallism. The film it as "particularly Latino" or particularly Mexican? Sleep Dealer have many Latino, Mexican traits. In the being you see the area and particularly certain race they are. The area they live in is particularly in the dessert. The area was very dry and lack of water. The lack of water was due to the government trying to take over their water supplies in the small deserted town. The family basically lived in the middle of nowhere. The main character memo and everyone in the film was speaking Spanish But the subtitles is English. In the film the directed displayed a lot of struggle and immigration situation as well. like in the movies the different labor jobs they had to do in order to survive was a big struggle. No one really spoke English except for the Mexican American soldier who killed the memo's father in the line of duty. Memo also had to work to send money to his family. His job was dangerous even with all of those plugs it still dangerous. He also was talking about moving somewhere else like the city and getting away from his deserted town, moving to the city would be better. “Sleep Dealer” takes place in the future, in the rural country of Mexico. The world has become militarized and closed by borders, where water is limited and expensive. The limitation and recession has forced the world and the people into virtual labor and the global networks join by human minds. Survival in the new world depends on earning money, no matter the method. Many have chosen the tactic of migrating from rural areas to the urban cities where they pierce themselves to nodes that allow them to be able to work in the virtual world of labor.

Freedom; when we think about freedom do we know what real freedom is? It is the right that every person has. The freedom enjoyed by those in the real world. If I have to do something if it’s not in my power to do otherwise then I’m not free to do it as like slaves. The slaves have no power to do anything. The Slaves does not have any freedom. Freedom is the opportunity to own your own destiny, within the limits of reason and morality. One has the power to make their own priorities and to act upon them accordingly. However, freedom has to be balanced with order. When one’s freedom constricts another’s freedom it has gone too far and there will undoubtedly be consequences. Sometimes harsh consequences. Examples of this would be murder and rape, for which persecution would later ensue. Everyone has the freedom to control their own thoughts, which can never be taken away. Even in societies where freedom is limited, thought and emotions are untouched by these restrictions.

When I think about my personal life yes I do think my life is determined individual fate and I think I am free to choose as I wish. I’m not slaves for now I'm free I'm following the path God has chosen for me I’m free to do anything I like to do. I can enjoy this life My life's been full savored much. Good friend, good time loved ones touch god wanted me now-he set me free. “The freedom enjoyed by those in real world; however you are free to perform an action only if you can avoid performing it. If you have to do something if it’s not in your powers to do otherwise then you is not free to do it” (88). Fate is something unknown ,out of our control, you have to accept it weather its good or bad, you must believe in fate if you want to be able to continue your life, fate is something in god hand , whatever you did or you will do you cannot change the events, you cannot change your destiny. You can make life easy or hard it's up to you. The freedom enjoyed by those in the real world. The Matrix and the "real world" you are either being controlled by someone or by something just in two different ways.

Everybody loves freedom. Everybody wants it. Freedom is a condition of life where an individual is afforded the opportunity to choose one's next action. If you are a welfare statist, you probably don’t consider a person to have the freedom to take drugs, kill someone or fight with someone. Freedom is the societal condition we have to control one self. The freedom for us to breathe clean air. Which freedom is more important? That should be obvious to anybody, but because so many decision makers are taking short-term and selfish viewpoints, long-term public interests like this are not being respected and freedoms are not being chosen wisely.
